NEWS: 24/11/99 - Well, here I am with some major changes and updates to the site. The first new section is "Bates 525", which is all about where I live and the boys I live with. The second is "The Top 5 Hitlist" which is where you can listen to my 5 favorite songs of the moment (check the new Choclair joint in there!). Look for new photos and a section on the Raptors and my crew (all da boyz) to be added soon. What can I say? I guess I'm inspired of late. Enjoy the new sectionz! 14/11/99 - Wow, just when I thought things were starting to go well with this site life threw up one hell of a roadblock. Anyhow, I'm back and trying for the millionth time to actually be faithful to this website. What's in the news these days? To be honest I have no idea as school is absolutely crazy these days. Doesn't leave much time to breath never mind know what's happening around the world (what a terrible thing to say). I promise I'll try to read a paper this week so I'm not so totally lost. I'm planning on making some pretty big changes in the near future - starting with a message board. Check back often so you can see my progress. 19/08/99 - Okay, okay...so I gave up on the website again. What am I supposed to do? It's summer and you know I gotta party sometime. Nevertheless, I'm back making changes again. Notice that I've gotten rid of the "Insider Info" section (if you want to know what's happening with technology, read a magazine) and replaced it with a photo album. I have a feeling that that's going to become the pride of this website so take a look. Right now I've only got my World Cup 98 pictures in there but as soon as I hook my scanner back up you can be sure that it's going to be live. As for news of the day, what's there really to say? There's so much going on right now it's hard for me to keep up. A lot of it has been sad news unfortunately...case in point, the terrible earthquake in Turkey. What makes it all the more sad is that countless lives could have been spared if the corruption of that nation hadn't led to innumerable buildings being erected that were substandard and unsafe. 28/05/99 - I can't believe that I'm making announcements three days in a row. This should be cause for a national holiday or something. Today's news is to alert you to an extremely relevant web site: The Ontario Student Debt Awareness Campaign. Take a look at it! And make sure you get out and vote on June 3rd (even if you believe you'll be forced to choose from the best of the worst). We live in a time where there are few great leaders but nevertheless it is important to make your voice heard and exercise your right to vote. DO NOT BE APATHETIC!!! 27/05/99 - Just to confirm what I said yesterday:
